Suitable for high-temperature steels and steels for hot hydrogen service, especially in oil refineries. Preferably be used for 9% Cr steels, such as P91/T91. Application in Power Plants, Turbine Casings, Coal Liquefaction Plants, Gasification Plants, Elevated Temperature Piping.
TIGFIL 90S-B9 is a 9Cr-1Mo wire with micro alloying of Vanadium for GTAW welding. This wire is specially designed to provide strength, toughness, in addition to oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures up to 650?C. The welds have improved long term creep properties when compared with regular 9Cr-1Mo welds.
