The Automig FC 81T1 is Welder friendly operation combined with minimal spatter, smooth arc, self detaching slag and excellent mechanical properties.
For joining of 1Cr-0.5Mo, 0.5Cr-0.5Mo creep resistant steels. Intended to weld steels subjected to high temperature service such as ASTM A387 Gr.11 plate and A335 P11 pipe in the fabrication of boilers, heat exchangers, piping systems and pressure vessels. Some Cr-Mo steels with matching properties are A182 & A336 grades F11/ F11A/ F-12, A199 & A200 T11, A213 T11/T12, A335 P11/P12, A369 FP11/ FP12, A426 CP11/CP12, A387 Gr.11/Gr.12
AUTOMIG FC 81T1-B2 is all position rutile type low alloy steel flux cored wire intended for single and multiple pass welding of certain Cr-Mo steels. Weld deposits are of 1.25Cr-0.5Mo type. Welder friendly operation combined with minimal spatter, smooth arc, self detaching slag and excellent mechanical properties. Careful control of preheat and interpass temperatures with proper PWHT is required.
