ZEDALLOY 250 AC or DC(-) AIR HARDENING type of weld metal of approx. 250BHN hardness. Weld metal is MACHINABLE. BUFFER LAYER of TENALLOY-16 is recommended on hard base materials.
ZEDALLOY 350 AC or DC(-) AIR HARDENING type of weld metal of approx. 350BHN hardness. Weld metal is MACHINABLE with carbide tools. BUFFER LAYER of TENALLOY-16 is recommended on carbon steels & low alloy steels.
ZEDALLOY 350 LH AC or DC(-) Weld metal of approx. 300BHN hardness. Weld metal is MACHINABLE with carbide tools.
ZEDALLOY 550 AC or DC(-) Weld metal of approx.200BHN, rises to 500BHN under impact in service. Weld metal is resistant to combined effect of abrasion, impact and corrosion.
ZEDALLOY 550 LH AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx. 550BHN hardness.Weld metal in NON-MACHINABLE. Weld metal can withstand HEAVY ABRASION & FRICTION and MODERATE IMPACT. Recommended for deposition on high Crbon and high Sulphur steels without inducing underbead cracking and porosity.
ZEDALLOY 600 AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx. 600BHN (58RC) hardness. (Upto 60RC, after suitable heat treatment). Weld metal in NON-MACHINABLE. Recommended for deposition on high Crbon and high Sulphur steels without inducing underbead cracking and porosity.
ZEDALLOY Vb AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx. 600BHN hardness.Weld metal in NON-MACHINABLE. Weld metal can withstand ABRASION & METAL-TO-METAL WEAR. The built-up does not deteriorate through furrowing, local plastic flow and micro-cracking.
ZEDALLOY 12Mn AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx.200BHN, rises to 500BHN under impact in service.Weld metal consists of 12%Mn. BUFFER LAYER of Betachrome is recommended on Mild steel, Carbon steel or Low alloy steel.
ZEDALLOY 20 Cr AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx.250BHN, rises to 400BHN under heavy peening and to 500BHN under impact in service. Weld metal is resistant to combined effect of abrasion, impact and corrosion.
SUPER ZEDALLOY AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx. 600BHN. Weld metal consists of 35%Cr and 3.5%C. Weld metal is resistant to OXIDATION upto about 1000ºC. Weld metal is resistant to severe abrasion. Deposition efficiency is about 130%
ZEDALLOY -Ni AC or DC(+) Weld metal of approx. 545BHN(55RC) at room temp. and 37Rc at 500ºC Weld metal consists of 30%Cr, 4%Si and 3%C. Weld metal is resistant to OXIDATION upto about 1000ºC. Weld metal is resistant to severe abrasion at high temp.
ZEDALLOY-K AC or DC(+) AIR HARDENING type weld metal of approx. 600BHN hardness. Weld metal can withstand ABRASION & METAL-TO-METAL WEAR.
