Functional Requirement : |

Dept. Head QA & QC at Silvassa. The responsibility will be : |
|
| |
- Timely release of Inward Materials & Finished Goods
- Liaison with third party products approving agencies
- In-charge of consumer care cell, has to attend customers’ feedback / grievances / complaints
- Calibration of test & measuring equipments
- Monitoring process, control activities and initiate & complete corrections, corrective actions & preventive actions as necessary in liaison with production / maintenance teams
- Day to day liaison with the plant in-charge for PC & QA related activities
- Timely & periodic reporting to the group management representative as per prevalent practices
- Liaison with TDC for testing of product development projects
- Liaison with project teams formed from time to time for other development / improvement projects
- Training of the PC & QA/QC personnel
- Ensuring conformance to EMS & OHSMS requirements in his/her functional area(s)
- Monitoring of six sigma projects, SPC & SQC of daily activities, etc.

Will be required to work as site management representative (SMR) for the quality management (QMS) at Silvassa – in this capacity, following will be the activities : |
|
| |
- Implementation & maintenance of QMS as per the Organizational Structure at Silvassa
- Monitoring effectiveness of QMS through internal audits
- Document control for QMS, EMS & OHSMS as defined
- Liaison with certifying agency (DNV and others) for periodic / re-certification audits of our QMS at Silvassa and submission of necessary CAPA, if any
- Promotion of awareness of customer requirements
- Approval of new infrastructure / products / processes
- Training of all the personnel at Silvassa on QMS requirements, their roles etc.

Qualification & experience required : |

M.Tech. (Metallurgy) / B Tech (Metallurgy) / B.E. (Mechanical) / B.E. (Metallurgy) with 5 - 8 years of experience in QA / QC of related fields. |

- Well versed with SPC, SQC & related problem solving & six sigma methodology

- The candidate must be a Diploma Holder in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Metallurgy Engineering preferably with 1 – 2 years of experience in production activities
- The candidate shall be working on all operations / maintenance and other shop-floor related activities. The job calls for high degree of technology / process conformance and is not of supervisory nature

Qualification & Experience : |

- The candidate should possess Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Metallurgy Engineering and preferably in the age group of 25 - 30 years
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Selling / Marketing of Welding products or Allied Products in a medium or large organization
- Preference to those who are from Welding Industry
- Extensive travel involved
- Locals having good topographical knowledge of industrial belts in respective areas are desirable
- Good communication skills in English & local language with pleasing personality is desirable
